Frequently asked questions.

What age groups are you currently working with?

We are currently working with U14-U18 boys, and we do anticipate expanding age groups as well into possibly working with girls in the future.

How often will you have camps?

We are currently going to run them in the summer and will work towards offering them 2-3 times a year.

What skill level is required for boys to attend?

To maximize the opportunity for all stakeholders (players, families, coaches, etc.) we are seeking individuals that are currently playing high level club soccer. In the U.S. this includes clubs like the MLS  Pro, MLS Next, Elite Club National League (ECNL), etc., but we will not eliminate players based on this.

Is there a registration process and fee?

We do have an online form listed on the ‘Program’ page, and this serves as our current registration screening process. If you have questions prior to completing the form please do not hesitate to reach out. While there is currently not a fee to attend this is subject to change based on necessary costs for operationalizing and running the camp. These are costs associated with renting fields, paying for lights, referees for scrimmages, coaches, etc.

Does my player have to have Haitian citizenship?

In order to attend the camps they don’t have to have their Haitian citizenship, but they do have to be able to attain citizenship. In order to obtain citizenship players have to have a parent who has Haitian citizenship. For further questions or details regarding eligibility please contact your nearest Haitian Embassy or Haitian Consulate.

What is the process for attaining Haitian citizenship?

This is a lengthy process, and you will want to start it as soon as possible. The checklist of information included below is directly copied from the Haitian Consulate in Chicago, IL, U.S., and prior to starting this process please contact the nearest Haitian Embassy or Haitian Consulate for confirmation. You will also need to contact them to understand processing, timelines, and fee/cost details. Also, please keep in mind not all embassies and consulates process paperwork online and may require the Haitian parent that has citizenship to go in person to apply with their player.
